Summer School Enrollment
Parents and Students of Gilbert Public Schools,

As the school year comes to a close, it is a good time to start planning and preparing for next year. Students at Gilbert Public Schools have the opportunity to enroll in the 2017 Summer School program.

This program offers both core academic courses as well as elective courses, designed for either credit recovery, preparation for high school courses, or acceleration (getting ahead), depending on the course. Many courses are offered as either half day courses (earning semester credit) or as full day courses (earning year-long credit).

Need credit recovery? Academic core courses (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies) are available as either half day or full day courses, depending upon the course and enrollment.

Need to prepare for math? Honors Math 7th Prep, Math 8th Prep, and Algebra Prep are great options to help students refine their current skills necessary for the next level or transition to either high school math. Want to get some high school credits out of the way?

Current 8th grade students, entering high school in the 2017- 2018 school year, can enroll in select high school courses such as: technology, business, foreign language, visual arts, or physical education.

As students are planning for next year, consider what Summer School has to offer. Online registration is open April 3rd and closes Wednesday, May 31st, at midnight. Registration instructions are available and the course catalog is available at:
